NexHome Privacy Policy
NexHome is a local-first Android launcher. It organizes your home screen, apps, widgets, search, private space and assistant tools around device data that stays local unless a feature clearly sends a request to a service you choose.
Layout, favorites, hidden apps, private space, JAVI memory and settings are stored on the device.
NexHome does not use advertising SDKs, analytics SDKs or sell personal and sensitive user data.
Weather, web search, speech and AI model downloads can contact external providers for the feature you use.
1. Scope
This Privacy Policy applies to the NexHome Android app and the public NexHome product pages operated by NextEra.One. It explains how the launcher accesses, uses, stores and shares user data for app launching, search, widgets, private space, notifications, voice and assistant features.
NexHome does not require a NextEra.One account.
2. Data NexHome accesses or stores on your device

3. Data collected by NextEra.One
NextEra.One does not operate a NexHome account service, analytics backend or advertising backend. NexHome does not upload your launcher layout, installed-app list, contacts, calendar events, notification content, JAVI memory or private-space choices to NextEra.One.
The public website may receive ordinary web server request information from visitors, such as IP address, browser type and requested page, through the hosting provider used to publish these static pages. The app itself does not send launcher state to that website.
4. External services and user-initiated transfers
NexHome does not sell personal and sensitive user data. Data can leave your device in these cases:
- The weather widget requests current conditions from Open-Meteo using an approximate city coordinate inferred from your timezone and standard network metadata such as IP address.
- When you run a web search, the search query is sent to the provider you selected, such as Google, DuckDuckGo, Brave, Bing, Wikipedia or Google Play.
- When you load the optional on-device AI classifier, model code and weights are downloaded from CDN/model hosts. Launcher commands are processed locally after loading.
- When you use voice commands, Android/WebView speech recognition or the active system speech service may process audio to produce text.
- When you open another app, camera, browser, map, file picker, share sheet or Play Store result, that destination handles any data you provide under its own policy.
- If you install or open NexHome through Google Play, Google processes Play Store data under Google's policies.
5. Permissions
- Installed apps and launcher access: show and launch installed apps, profiles, shortcuts and widgets.
- Contacts permission: show contact results in launcher search when you allow it.
- Calendar permission: show local calendar events when you allow it.
- Notification listener access: show badges, notification cards and notification actions when you enable it in Android settings.
- Microphone permission: run opt-in voice commands through the system speech service.
- Camera and flashlight permissions: launch camera tools and flashlight actions you choose.
- Files and media picker access: choose a wallpaper photo, pick files, save or restore local launcher data when you choose those actions. NexHome does not request broad shared photo or video storage permissions.
- Phone, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, audio, biometrics and settings permissions: provide launcher shortcuts, system toggles, media controls and local lock/private-space flows.
6. Retention and deletion
- Launcher layout, favorites, private space, hidden apps, settings, local JAVI memory and backup metadata remain on device until you reset them, clear storage or uninstall NexHome.
- Exported backup files are created only when you choose to export them and remain wherever you save or share them.
- Permission-based data such as contacts, calendar and notifications is read from Android providers and is not retained by NextEra.One.
- Data already sent to external providers, search engines, speech services, other apps or websites is controlled by those providers.
- You can use Android Settings > Apps > NexHome > Storage > Clear storage to remove local app data.
7. Security
NexHome relies on Android runtime permissions, Android app sandboxing, Android system services, local storage and IndexedDB. Private space and lock flows use Android device credentials, Android BiometricPrompt or local PIN fallback. External providers receive data only for the specific feature request described above.
8. Children
NexHome is not directed to children. The app is a launcher intended for users who are allowed to manage apps, widgets, notifications and system shortcuts on their Android device.
9. Changes and contact
NextEra.One may update this policy when NexHome changes how it handles data. Material changes will be reflected on this page with a new effective date.
